ERA Challenger 3D Rebated Hinge

The ERA Challenger 3D Rebated Hinge is a high-performance adjustable hinge designed for rebated PVCu entrance doors with a standard 13mm Eurogroove profile. It features a 20mm rebate depth to accommodate doors with a stepped edge, ensuring a flush fit against the frame. Overall hinge height is 102mm, with a projection of approximately 20mm when installed. This hinge supports a total load capacity of 150kg when three are used per door, suitable for standard residential applications. It offers true 3D adjustment capabilities: ±3mm vertically, ±2mm horizontally, and ±1.5mm in depth for precise door alignment post-installation. The design includes a security pin to prevent lift-off and is compatible with both inward- and outward-opening configurations. Constructed from durable zinc alloy with a steel pin, it meets BS EN 1670 Grade 4 corrosion resistance (240 hours salt spray) and has been cycle-tested to over 100,000 operations. Supplied in pairs (left and right) with fixings for Eurogroove installation. Available in white and brown finishes to match common door profiles. Most doors require three pairs for optimal performance.
